The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine is publishing updated data on enterprises involved in cooperation for the production of the Orion UAV, as well as foreign co
The relevant data were published by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the War & Sanctions portal in the section “Components in Weapons”.
The Orion is a strike-reconnaissance drone produced by the sanctioned Russian group of companies Kronstadt.
DIU had previously published its interactive 3D model and a list of enterprises involved in its production cooperation.
Now 19 more companies have been added to the database. They manufacture components of the anti-icing and fuel systems, flight-navigation equipment, as well as elements of the radio-electronic command-and-information interaction system.
Thus, the total number of enterprises in the database involved in the production of the Orion UAV has increased to 70.
DIU also added 30 electronic components identified in the Iranian Shahed-107 UAV used by the enemy and in the QIR50TPRO gyrostabilized electro-optical system of the Russian Phoenix reconnaissance drone.
The interactive model and component base of the Shahed-107 had already been published earlier by DIU.
The current update supplements it with 15 additional components discovered in another sample of this UAV used by the enemy.
Recent events in the Middle East demonstrate that the weapons currently used by Russia against Ukraine pose a threat of terror and strikes against civilian infrastructure in other regions of the world as well.
According to DIU, the publication of such data is aimed at consolidating international efforts to counter the proliferation and use of such weapons systems.

An 18% decrease in the use of FPV drones by Russian forces in February is likely the effect of strikes on enemy UAV arsenals.
Ukrainian defense company FirePoint produces about 200 long-range strike drones per day and can quickly increase this output.
