The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published materials from the First National Conference on Underwater Demining “Depth of Safety”.
The publication became the first systematic summary of Ukraine’s experience in underwater demining and a step toward forming a comprehensive national policy.
The collection includes analytical materials on:
- challenges of clearing water areas
- classification of water bodies
- risk assessment and planning algorithms
- environmental safety principles
- integration of innovative technologies
The publication was prepared by the Main Directorate for Mine Action, Civil Protection and Environmental Safety with support from UNDP Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Korea.
