Ukraine is ready to provide partners in the Middle East with its expertise and necessary means to defend against Iranian strike drones.

This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with the media together with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

According to the President, during the meeting the parties discussed security challenges related to the war in the Middle East and Iran’s strikes against countries of the Persian Gulf.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the need for coordination among partners both on a bilateral basis and within Europe to avoid new threats to the continent.

“I expect that we will coordinate both on a bilateral basis and at the European level so that Europe’s interests are ensured”, — he said.

The President also reported that Ukraine has already begun to contribute to stabilizing the situation.

According to him, countries of the region and the United States have asked Ukraine for assistance, particularly regarding protection against Shahed-type drones.

“We will provide them with the necessary means and our expertise — the experience of our military — to defend against ‘Shaheds’”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

He emphasized that such a request from partners should become a signal for Europe to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine in the security sphere.

According to the President, Europe, like the countries of the Middle East, needs to strengthen defense, and Ukraine today has one of the largest experiences in the world in countering modern threats.

“It is Ukraine that has the best expertise in this, the greatest experience, and the most effective production”, — he emphasized.
