In the Oleksandrivka direction, units of the Air Assault Forces grouping have already liberated 9 settlements, and work continues on freeing several more.
This was reported on March 2 by the Command of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The units of the AAF grouping are relentlessly pressing the enemy, liberating Ukrainian land, destroying the occupiers, and methodically cutting their logistical arteries. As of now, 9 settlements have been liberated. Three settlements have been cleared of the enemy in our zone, and right now work is underway to liberate several more settlements”, — the statement reads.
Military units and subunits of the Air Assault Forces grouping continue active offensive actions in the Oleksandrivka direction, imposing on the enemy their own conditions of battle.
During the operation, the enemy is being systematically and decisively pushed out of fortified positions. Targeted and massive strikes are destroying the occupiers’ manpower, weapons, military and special equipment.
The offensive operation was carried out in accordance with the determined plan, and already within a week, as a result of the decisions made and the use of technical means, access of enemy forces to the Starlink network was restricted.
“This significantly affected the occupiers’ situational awareness and complicated the control of their units at the first stage, but the enemy did not stop its offensive actions and continued moving forward”, — the AAF reported.
Aerial reconnaissance units and FPV teams are also working effectively, detecting and destroying targets, leaving the enemy with no safe rear.
Since the beginning of the operation, since 29 January 2026, the enemy has lost 6,537 personnel, including:
In addition, the occupiers have lost 419 units of weapons and military equipment, including 14 armored fighting vehicles and 7 tanks.
