The photographer couple Vlada and Kostiantyn Liberov shared a heartbreaking story on their social networks about soldiers of the 36th Marine Brigade.

The photos and story were published on March 2 on the page of the 30th Marine Corps.

“On the road to Kostiantynivka… we saw two wounded servicemen by the roadside. They had stepped on a mine while entering the town. Next to them were three marines from the 36th Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi, providing them with aid”, — Ukrainian photographers Vlada and Kostiantyn Liberov said.

Vlada and Kostiantyn met the soldiers and took several portraits of them. However, the same day, the Liberovs received a call from the commander of the marine battalion asking them to send the photos of the men they had photographed.

It turned out that the soldiers had died that day after coming under enemy shelling. According to the 30th Corps, they were:

Anton Sklonchak (“Dancer”), Volodymyr Stupak (“Logan”), and Oleksii Semenovych (“Sem”).

“It was the warriors’ first deployment to the positions. They were killed, but they managed to save the lives of their wounded comrades. Eternal memory to the fallen heroes. We express our condolences to the families of the deceased,” the 30th Corps reported.
