On the night of March 2 (starting at 18:30 on March 1), the enemy attacked with 94 strike UAVs of the types Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 2.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 84 enemy UAVs of the types Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and drones of other types over the north, south, and east of the country.
Ten strike UAV impacts were recorded at four locations, and debris from downed drones fell at two more locations.
The enemy is attempting to develop the production of naval drones and copy successful Ukrainian practices — both technical solutions and tactics.
