In Geneva today, the Ukrainian delegation is holding a bilateral meeting with the American delegation — Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
This was reported by Oleksii Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
“From the Ukrainian side, David Arakhamia, Oleksii Sobolev, and Daryna Marchak are in the delegation with me today. Together with the Government’s economic team, we will work out the prosperity package in detail: mechanisms of economic support and recovery of Ukraine, tools for attracting investments, and long-term cooperation”, — Umerov said.
According to him, they also plan to discuss preparations for the next round of trilateral talks involving the Russian side — it is necessary to synchronize positions before this stage.
“An important block is the humanitarian track and the issue of possible exchanges. We expect concrete results regarding the return of our citizens. We are working on practical solutions. We will report the results after the meeting”, — the NSDC Secretary wrote.
As ArmyInform reported, on the evening of February 25, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with President of the United States Donald Trump. Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner from the U.S. President’s team also took part in the call.
Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Ukrainian and American negotiators are currently working hard, and thanked them for all their efforts and deep involvement in negotiations and work to end the war.
