Today, russia struck another American enterprise in Ukraine — a civilian production facility of Mondelez in Trostianets.
This was reported by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
Mondelez is one of the first major American investment projects in independent Ukraine’s economy.
A missile hit one of the production buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties. This is not a military facility but a plant that has been operating since the 1990s, producing globally known brands, providing jobs, and contributing to both the Ukrainian and American economies.
“When russian missiles hit such facilities, they are aimed not only at Ukraine. They target American business interests in Europe. Moscow cannot speak of economic dialogue with the United States while simultaneously striking U.S.-owned production facilities”, — Sybiha wrote.
He added that strikes on peaceful industry are not war — they are deliberate economic terror, and there must be accountability for this.
