NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov held a meeting with Italy’s Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto.
He reported this on his Telegram channel.
“Today, together with Davyd Arakhamia, we held a meeting with Italy’s Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, diplomatic adviser to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Italy Fabrizio Saggio, and representatives of Italy’s security structures”, — the post reads.
The meeting discussed defense, energy, and economic support for Ukraine, as well as synchronization of positions regarding further cooperation steps.
Separate meetings also took place with the leadership of major defense companies.
“We discussed strengthening Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex, in particular the development of air-defense capabilities to protect our cities. We thank Italy for its systematic support of Ukraine”, — Umerov added.
