Робимо нове: Третій армійський корпус та корпус «Хартія» підписали меморандум про розробку програм підготовки для української армії

The 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 2nd Corps of the National Guard “Khartia” signed a memorandum on developing training programs for the

This is stated in a joint announcement by the two corps.

The goal is to develop joint training programs for personnel.

The project, “Interoperability for Effectiveness on the Battlefield and Saving Lives”, — will combine Ukrainian combat experience with the best NATO practices.

It concerns adapting Western approaches to the realities of modern high-tech warfare and eliminating remnants of the post-Soviet legacy.

“The only foundation of victory is the training and experience of the army. The Ukrainian military has unique combat experience, and it is time to turn it into a powerful school. Since 2015, the command of the 3rd Army Corps has been adapting NATO’s most effective approaches to personnel training.

We created the Yevhen Konovalets Military School and introduced a command culture based on Mission Command — with every servicemember, from soldier to general, ready to make decisions within their competence and take responsibility.

This model was scaled from battalion to corps. We continue to develop it together with Khartia and are ready to share our work with other units”, — said Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi, commander of the 3rd Army Corps.

The new methodologies will cover basic military training, NCO training, retraining of junior officers, terminology unification, technical interoperability standards, medical support, and more.

“When units speak one professional language, use uniform planning procedures, and have the same level of training — they become interoperable.

This builds trust within the army and enables the mission command principle (delegated command). And this, in turn, is a prerequisite for success on the battlefield.

We began applying NATO standards back in 2016 with the formation of the Rapid Reaction Brigade, now known as ‘Rubizh’.

Its structure and command were built according to NATO-member standards. Later, these same principles formed the basis of Khartia — first as territorial defense, then as a brigade, and now as a corps that includes the Rubizh Brigade”, — said Colonel Ihor Obolenskyi, commander of the Khartia Corps.

The 3rd Army Corps and Khartia defend the Kharkiv region; strengthening coordination and sharing experience will allow more effective defense against the enemy and save soldiers’ lives.

The joint platform will be open to other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which will be able to share experience and contribute to training materials and methodologies.

The memorandum of cooperation between the 3rd Army Corps and Khartia is a systemic step to turn combat experience into training standards that can be implemented across the entire Ukrainian army.
