On February 17–18, another round of trilateral negotiations will take place in Geneva between the delegations of Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia.
This was reported by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.
The Ukrainian delegation arrived in Geneva yesterday evening.
“Tomorrow we begin another round of negotiations in a trilateral format. The agenda has been agreed upon, the team is ready to work”, — Rustem Umerov wrote on the evening of February 16.
According to him, the Ukrainian delegation expects constructive work and substantive meetings on security and humanitarian issues — to move toward a just and lasting peace.
It is noted that last night, before the start of negotiations, the Russians carried out a massive air strike using drones and cruise missiles.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the trilateral negotiations in Geneva would discuss how a monitoring mission would operate in case of a ceasefire.
