Ukraine’s Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov discussed coordination of supplies according to frontline needs and the development of joint projects during his vis

This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

During his visit to the headquarters of the NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine Initiative (NSATU) and the Security Assistance Group–Ukraine (SAG-U) in Wiesbaden, the Minister familiarised himself with the work of this key component of Ukraine’s support architecture.

He held meetings with the commander of NSATU and SAG-U, Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, and with the deputy commander, Major General Ulf Heusler.

The talks focused on ensuring maximum alignment of supplies with the real needs of Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield. Continuous data exchange and rapid adaptation to the changing conditions of war were identified as key requirements.

The Minister also visited the operational units of SAG-U and NSATU, where he observed the work of the teams coordinating Ukraine’s defence needs, spoke with their specialists, and thanked them for their efforts.

Today, NSATU brings together hundreds of specialists who coordinate the supply of weapons and equipment, ensure logistics, organise repairs and maintenance, integrate capability coalitions, and support the formation of Ukraine’s future Defence Forces.

Mykhailo Fedorov emphasised that Ukraine has proved its ability to strengthen its partners. Combat experience, innovation, and rapid adaptation of Ukraine’s Defence Forces are a practical contribution to the development of modern military doctrine.

“The country will continue expanding joint projects with partners. Among the key goals are the reliable protection of cities from Russian strikes, deterring the enemy’s advance, and preventing further aggression against Ukraine”, — the Ministry of Defence noted.
