President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported on the consequences of the new massive strike by Russian occupation forces.

According to him, the main target during the attack, which began on the night of Saturday, February 7, was the energy infrastructure in several regions.

“More than 400 drones and about 40 missiles of various types were used in this attack. The main target is the power grid, generation, and distribution substations. There is damage in Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Rivne regions. A multi-story building in Rivne was damaged. In Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region, drones struck the administrative building of a regular agricultural college. There were also strikes in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. In some regions, air defense forces continue working”, — the statement says.

According to the President, despite opportunities for diplomacy, Russians continue choosing aggression.

“It is important that everyone supporting trilateral negotiations responds to this. Moscow must be deprived of the ability to pressure Ukraine with cold. For this, we need missiles for Patriots, NASAMS, and other systems. Every delivery helps us get through this winter. I thank all partners who understand this and truly help”, — Zelensky added.
