The Commander-in-Chief of the AFU, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, heard reports from the heads of training centers regarding the implementation of the adaptation program for recruits at training ranges, the organization of air defense coverage of training sites, and the construction and equipment of shelters.
He reported this on February 6 on social media.
“In addition, we must raise the bar and achieve better standards regarding the level of instructors and their attitude toward their work, as well as the equipment of training centers and ranges, safety, and living conditions”, — the Commander-in-Chief wrote.
He tasked officials with strengthening control over the condition of training centers and the quality of training both in the centers and in brigades.
“As part of control, the audit of basic general military training — which has been regularly conducted in training units and combat brigades since last fall and has proven its effectiveness — should continue”, — Syrskyi noted.
In particular:
“And perhaps the most valuable part of such video conferences is the reports by unit representatives who share their experience regarding training organization within their own combat brigades and regiments”, — the Commander-in-Chief added.
This time, he heard commanders and heads of training directions from the 59th Drone Assault Brigade, the 3rd Assault Brigade, the 79th Air Assault Brigade, and the 425th “Rock” Assault Regiment.
According to him, the role of their instructors — who teach newcomers immediately after returning from combat — cannot be overstated.
“I sincerely thank all who train and teach our soldiers, and all who diligently prepare for combat missions”, — Syrskyi concluded.
