On Tuesday, February 3, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte arrived in Kyiv, where meetings with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukraine’s top leadership were scheduled as part of his visit.

This was reported on the page of the NATO Representation to Ukraine.

In his address to the Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made it clear that the Alliance’s support for Ukraine would continue unwaveringly.

“Ukraine is and will remain extremely important for our security”, — the statement said.

In the context of the ongoing peace negotiations, the NATO Secretary General also reaffirmed the importance of reliable security guarantees for Ukraine, emphasizing transatlantic security arrangements in the event an agreement is reached.

“You must be certain that this peace will be lasting. Not because of signed documents, but because of the strength that backs them”, — Mark Rutte said.
