Operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrate high effectiveness in destroying Russian air defense and enemy manpower.

USF spokesperson Olha Meloshyna told this on Army FM.

According to her, 12 units currently operate within the Unmanned Systems Forces grouping, showing the best results in destroying enemy equipment and personnel.

“These are our top 12 units demonstrating incredible results, eliminating both enemy manpower and equipment”, — she noted.

She emphasized that FPV drones remain among the most effective means of destruction, and the development of UAV complexes and ground robotic systems continues constantly.

“Drones don’t stand still: UAVs, ground robotic complexes — everything is constantly improving”, — she stressed.

According to USF, unmanned systems units make up only about 2.2% of the total Defense Forces, but they are responsible for every third destroyed target and every third eliminated enemy soldier.

In the latest ranking of most effective units, six SBS formations entered the top ten. The leader was the 414th Brigade “Birds of Madjar”. Others included the 429th Brigade “Achilles”, the 427th Brigade “Rarog”, the 59th Separate Assault Brigade “Steppe Predators”, the 412th Brigade “Nemesis”, and the SBGSU UAV unit “Phoenix”.

Meloshyna also drew attention to the systematic destruction of enemy air defense, which USF calls “Air-Defense-cide”.

“Recently, in January, the 412th Brigade ‘Nemesis’ destroyed 10 enemy air defense systems in a week. Total value — about $300 million”, — she said.

She also described the recruitment process. Training lasts about 42 days, after which recruits undergo two weeks of integration into units. The greatest need now is for UAV operators, ground robotic operators, analysts, and decryptors.
