Near Pokrovsk, the enemy is trying to use weather conditions. Infantrymen are often sent forward into the fog.
This was reported on Army TV by an officer of the 5th Separate Special Forces Detachment “Omega” of the National Guard of Ukraine, call sign “Mamai”.
According to him, the enemy advances in small groups on foot as usual. They use motorcycles and cars. They are targeted for destruction even before they reach the front lines. However, due to snowstorms or fog, it is harder for drone attackers to spot them. The infantrymen sent to attacks, “Mamai” noted, are often a sort of “hodgepodge”.
“It’s a mix of everything. Sometimes we see on video a well-equipped enemy moving actively. But most are older servicemen, and their equipment leaves much to be desired. Sometimes they carry only one rifle and two or three magazines. They move this way to make it easier for themselves — not because they are prevented, but because they can’t carry more weight”, — said the officer of the 5th Separate Special Forces Detachment “Omega” of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The enemy is attempting to develop the production of naval drones and copy successful Ukrainian practices — both technical solutions and tactics.
