The night missile-drone strike was characterized by the use of missiles of various types — air-, ground-launched, and strike UAVs. The main directions of strikes were Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions.

This was reported on Suspilne Novyny by Yuriy Ignat, Head of the Communications Department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, the Russians carried out a combined attack with a truly large number of various air attack means. There was a significant amount of ballistic missiles. In addition to Kh-101 and Iskander-K, the rest of the missiles attacked along ballistic trajectories. In total, of the enormous number — 521 air attack means — 450 were shot down or suppressed.

“These include Iskander-M, S-300, also Zircon, Oniks, and Kh-22, Kh-32 missiles. Out of 71 missiles, 38 were intercepted by our systems. For six other missiles that also did not reach their targets, data is not yet available. We hope that some did not reach and fell. But, unfortunately, there were hits and some damage. Critical infrastructure continues to interest the enemy”, —  said the head of the Air Force Communications Department.
