Units of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade are engaged in intense positional combat, holding the settlement of Dronivka and inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.
The video was published on the channel of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanshchyna Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The enemy is increasing pressure around Dronivka — the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade is conducting positional fighting to hold the settlement. The situation around Dronivka is becoming more complicated. To assault Dronivka, Platonivka, and Zakitne, as well as to establish control over these settlements, the enemy daily accumulates resources in the Serebriansky Forest and Siversk”, — the statement said.
Air defense units play an important role in containing the enemy, systematically destroying enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs that constantly operate against Ukrainian positions.
This week, UAV units detected and destroyed a 2S3 “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery system, which occupation forces had carefully camouflaged in the area of the Serebrianske Forestry.
The enemy’s main objective in this sector remains establishing control over the coastal areas of the Siverskyi Donets River and securing dominant heights. If these plans were realized, the enemy would gain the ability to strike rear areas of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
“The enemy’s tactics remain unchanged — small groups of 2 people attempting to infiltrate the inter-position space of units of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the 7th Corps of the Rapid Response Forces of the Air Assault Forces. To remain unnoticed, russians use anti-thermal cloaks at night, and camouflage suits and adverse weather conditions during the day”, — the airborne troops reported.
