On the Kupiansk axis, the sky is “filled” with enemy drones. They mine areas, strike, conduct reconnaissance, and perform logistics functions.
This was stated on Army TV by Stanislav Kocherha, Deputy Commander of the “Pryvyd Khortytsia” Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 15th Brigade “Kara-Dag”.
According to him, the situation in the brigade’s area of responsibility remains quite tense. The enemy is constantly accumulating personnel for further assault attempts. It also periodically delivers fire damage using various artillery systems, aviation, and unmanned assets. UAVs are particularly active.
“The enemy’s unmanned component is quite developed. Overall, they have all the means known to us. The intensity and activity are quite high. They are capable of mining, striking with heavy munitions using FPV systems. Their ‘Lancets’ and ‘Molniyas’ operate quite actively both on the frontline and in our rear. FPVs on fiber optics, regular FPVs, as well as multirotors, reconnaissance drones, and ‘drop drones’ are all operating actively”, — he said.
