In civilian life, Natalia independently renovated her apartment—laying tiles and installing electrical wiring. Today, she prepares drones for intercepting enemy UAVs.
The story of the defender was published on the page of the “Khyzhak” Brigade under the Department of Patrol Police of Ukraine.
Natalia, call sign “Bee”, is a patrol police officer from Kyiv. She patrolled the Pechersk District of the city. She arrived at the Khyzhak Brigade on September 4—her birthday.
“I wanted to become an engineer. I was only interested in soldering. Step by step, I mastered repair, soldering, and assembly of FPV drones. I assembled my first training aircraft”, — Natalia recalls.
Natalia received her call sign for her constant diligent work and attention to the smallest details. “Bee” explains her love for technology by saying it has been with her since childhood — her father worked as an electrician.
According to her comrades, Natalia excels most at micro-soldering. However, she had no prior skills or experience. Everything had to be learned from scratch.
“I arrived at the brigade with my own soldering iron. The first aircraft — when I assembled it — didn’t quite work out, so we reworked and refined it a bit. The second time, there were still some mistakes. But the third time, it turned out exactly as needed. I was a complete beginner in this field”, — Natalia recalls.
This story is a vivid example that desire and perseverance in work are always rewarded with results.
