The communications center of the “Kursk” task force has been receiving numerous inquiries from the public regarding drone flights over the city of Sumy. In appeals and publications by local media, information has been spread with concern about the alleged appearance of Russian FPV drones in the sky over the regional center.
This was reported by the “Kursk” task force.
“We officially address the local community, local media, and local authorities: enemy FPV drone flights in the sky over the city are physically impossible.
What people saw with their own eyes or in the media were Ukrainian interceptor drones. They are used to protect against enemy strike UAVs such as ‘Shahed’, ‘Geran’, ‘Molniya’, ‘Italmas’, reconnaissance fixed-wing drones, and other deadly Russian filth.
Therefore, we ask media representatives not to give in to hysteria, to verify information, treat it critically, and in such cases contact the communications center of the ‘Kursk’ task force”, — the statement says.
