For several months, the enemy on the Lyman axis has been attempting to enter Lyman in order to continue implementing its main plan — the occupation of the Sloviansk–Kramatorsk agglomeration. Attempts to advance toward the Oskil River are also ongoing.
This was stated on the national telethon “United News” by the commander of the strike ground robotic systems company of the 3rd Army Corps, call sign “Makar”.
According to him, throughout this time the enemy has been smashing its assault groups against the defenses of the 3rd Army Corps, attempting maneuvers from the left and right flanks. At times, the occupiers manage to infiltrate in small groups, but such actions are quickly detected and the assault troops are destroyed. The groups are constantly eliminated, forcing the Russians to continuously replenish their forces.
“Probably the most difficult situation right now is near the settlement of Lyman. In the sector of the 3rd Army Corps, enemy losses are at an approximate ratio of 1 to 6 — that is, the enemy loses six times more personnel than our forces. In some sectors, for example in the area of the 60th Brigade, enemy losses are 12 to one. Weather conditions, severe frosts, and snow certainly have an impact, but we are adapting”, — said the commander.
