For the first time among higher military educational institutions of Ukraine, the project “School of Women Leaders: Opportunities for Transformation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” is being implemented at the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S. P. Koroliov.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Participants of the School of Women Leaders will be female cadets from all academic years of the military institute. The goal of the program is to support women and strengthen their capacity to develop leadership skills and apply them in the military sphere.
The School of Women Leaders includes training sessions, interactive lectures, practical tasks aimed at developing leadership qualities and effective team management, as well as mentoring support.
The program also include home assignments to research the history of women’s leadership at the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S. P. Koroliov, presentation of the results for further creation and placement of the exhibition “Women’s History of ZhMI” at the Military Institute Museum.
The School of Women Leaders is held with the support of Oksana Hryhorieva, Adviser on Gender Issues to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The classes are conducted by experts and certified trainers: Nataliia Tarasenko, Adviser on Gender Issues to the Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, and Oksana Krytenko, Adviser on Gender Issues to the Head of the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S. P. Koroliov.
Practical experience will also be shared by Liudmyla Yanushevych, a representative of the Zhytomyr City Council.
