On the night of January 24 (from 18:00 on January 23), the enemy carried out a combined strike on Ukraine using missiles of various types launched from air and ground platforms, as well as strike UAVs.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, Air Force radio-technical troops detected 396 aerial attack assets:
The main direction of the strike was Kyiv region. A specific feature was the involvement of strategic aviation aircraft with Kh-22/Kh-32 missiles to strike the capital of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 372 targets — 15 missiles and 357 UAVs of various types:
Hits of two missiles and 18 strike UAVs were recorded at 17 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (debris) at 12 locations. Information regarding four enemy missiles is being clarified.
