On January 21–22, a meeting of the NATO Military Committee was held in Brussels with the participation of the commanders-in-chief of the armed forces of the Alliance member states, as well as a meeting of the NATO–Ukraine Council.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone assured that support for Ukraine remains the Alliance’s number one priority.

“Our support for Ukraine remains strong and is our number one priority. Because Ukraine’s fight is not only Ukraine’s fight — it is also a fight for our shared security. Ukraine’s fight is our fight.

Initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine’s right to self-defense are yielding results, and all members of the Alliance are committed to this cause. But we can and must do more. And our support will continue”, — he stated.
