The 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, part of the 20th Army Corps, received Husqvarna Motorcycles — reliable and fast transport for the needs of combat units.
The video was published on the brigade’s Facebook page.
These are lightweight and maneuverable motorcycles with a 250 cc engine, easy to operate and repair. The ignition system is magneto-based (i.e., without a battery), and the transmission is automatic, enabling confident operation in difficult conditions.
Moreover, the class of this equipment is proven by history: in 1982, a model from this family won the Paris–Dakar Rally.
The new motorcycles will enhance the mobility of our units: delivery of ammunition and gear, transportation of equipment, and execution of urgent logistical tasks where speed and cross-country capability are critically important.
The repair battalion of the 23rd Mechanized Brigade has already begun modifications: installing baskets for transporting ammunition, weapons, or accommodating electronic warfare systems. Such transport is a practical solution for frontline conditions.
