Destroying individual enemy ground robotic systems is critically important: Unmanned Systems Forces report effective work of ‘K-2’
Despite the relatively infrequent detection of enemy ground robotic systems (GRS) near the line of contact at present, countering these unmanned systems requires close attention, as Russia is capable of rapidly scaling the production of successful models.
This was emphasized in an exclusive comment to ArmyInform by Major Olha Meloshyna, spokesperson for the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recently, fighters of the 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade “K-2” struck enemy infantry and equipment, reducing Russian offensive potential in one of the key directions.
Among the destroyed enemy assets was also a ground robotic system.
“The direction is currently active; the enemy does not stop infantry assaults. In particular, in the video you can see a destroyed Russian ground robotic system. Yes, the Russians also have them and use them for logistics”, — she said.
The main danger lies not in isolated cases of enemy use of ground robotic systems, but in Russia’s ability to rapidly scale production of battlefield-tested and successful GRS models.
“The development of these systems by the enemy should not be underestimated, especially given their ability to quickly scale production at the state level”, — the spokesperson emphasized.
That is why the destruction of even isolated enemy ground robotic systems near the line of combat contact is of significant importance.
