In December, mine-explosive barriers installed by all engineering units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 946 occupiers, 197 units of weapons and military equipment, and 74 other targets.

This was reported by the Command of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 18.

Most strikes were carried out via remote mining using UAVs, ensuring high effectiveness and minimal risk to Ukrainian soldiers.

“Engineering troops prove every day that modern warfare is a war of technologies. Remote mining units using drones and ground robotic complexes block enemy advance routes and effectively strike their forces and assets”, — the statement said.

Whereas sappers previously had to manually operate in dangerous areas, today these risks are minimized — unmanned systems allow tasks to be completed faster, more accurately, and much more safely.

Every strike on enemy equipment and personnel is recorded in real time, and all confirmed targets are entered into the Delta situational awareness system, ensuring full data reliability.

Engineering troops continue to strengthen defensive capabilities, create new engineering barriers, and inflict losses on the enemy in cooperation with all units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
