In the Pokrovsk sector, assault troops of the 79th Separate Tavriia Air Assault Brigade of the 7th Air Assault Corps approached the enemy by deception and eliminated him.

Units of the 79th Brigade continue to carry out combat missions in Myrnohrad and its outskirts.
Understanding the enemy’s tactics, paratroopers, in coordination with adjacent units, conduct a series of search-and-strike operations in concealed locations near Myrnohrad, where the enemy attempts to concentrate forces for further actions aimed at cutting off Ukrainian logistics routes and infiltrating the city.
Recently, the enemy used the territory of a fishing facility for such concentration.
After analyzing radio intercepts, the paratroopers of the 79th Brigade identified the call sign of an enemy infantryman located in one of the facility’s buildings. Instead of conducting a frontal assault, they decided on a different approach.
Ukrainian troops approached the building at close range and introduced themselves: “Kedr, we’re our own. We came to help”. After that, the assault troops entered the building without resistance and eliminated the Russian soldier.
