On the night of January 16, the enemy attacked with 76 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass types, and drones of other types; about 50 of them were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 08:30, air defense shot down and suppressed 53 enemy UAVs.
“Impacts of 19 strike UAVs were recorded at 9 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAV debris at one location”, — the statement said.
