Ukraine continues preparing documents with the United States regarding security guarantees and post-war recovery.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
“We are working in a very practical way so that in the near future there will be formats for signing and approval — legal approval by the U.S. Congress and the Ukrainian parliament”, — the Head of State said.
NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov reported yesterday on the negotiation process with the American side.
“It is necessary that Ukraine-related issues in relations with America remain at the top level despite all the informational and political challenges that exist today”, — Zelensky emphasized.
He also reported holding phone conversations with U.S. congressmen Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal and thanked them for unwavering bipartisan support.
“We currently have very productive work with the President of the United States and his team. We discussed all the details. I informed them about the situation with Russian strikes and air defense needs. We discussed how additional pressure on Russia can ensure strong diplomatic results”, — the President said.
