During the Kupiansk operation, crews of the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Achilles” carried out 689 sorties and delivered 9 tons of humanitarian cargo to frontline positions and adjacent units.
This was reported in a publication by the regiment.
The unit notes that over the past year, logistics has become one of the most dangerous aspects of the war. The line of contact has effectively turned into a continuous drone duel, and the so-called kill zone has expanded significantly. Under such conditions, delivering cargo by unmanned systems has become the only relatively safe way to supply infantry positions with food, medicines, communications equipment, and hardware.
That is why unmanned logistics today is not an auxiliary tool but a full-fledged element of combat support.
The Achilles Regiment emphasizes that each such sortie is not just delivery, but a way to maintain the combat effectiveness of units in areas where traditional logistics can no longer reach without critical risk.
