The occupation army of the Russian Federation is actively using artillery, shelling positions of the Defense Forces, including from the territory of Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.
This was stated during an ArmyTV stream by Ruslana Bohdan, an officer of the communications section of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kostiantyn Hordiienko.
At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are not only conducting active counter-battery operations, knocking out Russian artillery systems in the Vovchansk area, but are also expanding the kill zone into Belgorod Oblast through the use of strike drones.
“We don’t see any particular creativity — their artillery, among other things, is hiding on the territory of Belgorod Oblast… They have recently started installing anti-drone nets because we began operating in their rear”, — she said.
The Defense Forces are actively and effectively targeting enemy artillery near Vovchansk while expanding the strike zone into Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.
“They still expect to be able to operate in their rear and do not take into account that our fiber-optic drones are also actively operating in this sector… We are managing to knock them out in their own rear, expanding the kill zone on the Vovchansk axis toward Belgorod Oblast. That is why such work against artillery is currently underway”, — Ruslana Bohdan reported.
