Become the terrain: The 67th Brigade showed how snipers are prepared for real combat
The 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade demonstrated episodes of combat training of sniper pairs. The photos show the full training cycle: terrain camouflage, concealed movement, position selection, and practical shooting.
This was reported in a publication on the page of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
Camouflage as the basis of survival
During training, soldiers practice adapting to terrain and vegetation, individual and paired camouflage, and blending into complex backgrounds. Attention is paid to details: silhouette, shadow, glare from equipment elements, and movement traces.
The task is not just to “hide”, but to become part of the terrain.
Movement under control
A separate block of training focuses on concealed movement. Snipers train to move slowly and silently, change positions, work in pairs, and provide mutual cover.
They practice entering the operational area, occupying positions, changing observation points, and withdrawing without revealing signs.
Shooting in conditions close to combat
The final stage is practical shooting. Warriors operate from various positions, after movement, with limited time for decision-making. The focus is on accuracy, breath control, stability, and sniper pair coordination.
