On the night of January 13 (from 18:00 on January 12), the enemy attacked with 18 Iskander-M ballistic missiles / S-300 guided anti-aircraft missiles launched from Kursk, Bryansk, and Voronezh regions of the Russian Federation and from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea; seven Iskander-K cruise missiles from Kursk and Belgorod regions; and 293 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, and other types.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy attacked from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Kacha (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 200 of them were Shaheds.
Ballistic strikes were launched from four locations against Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv regions.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 09:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 247 targets:
