The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck three drilling platforms of the Lukoil Corporation in the waters of the Caspian Sea, and also carried out fire damage against a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile launcher and a logistics warehouse of the enemy in temporarily occupied territories.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff noted that the strikes were carried out as part of measures to reduce the military-economic potential of the aggressor.
In particular, Defense Forces units struck three Lukoil drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea — the Filanovsky platform, the Yuri Korchagin platform, and the Valery Grayfer platform. According to the General Staff, these facilities were involved in supporting the Russian occupation army. Hits were recorded; the extent of damage is being clarified.
In addition, Ukrainian forces conducted fire strikes against a Buk-M3 air defense system launcher near the settlement of Baranycheve (temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region). Preliminary data indicate confirmed hits and explosions.
Also, in order to reduce the enemy’s logistical and combat capabilities, a logistics warehouse of the 49th Army of the occupiers was struck near the settlement of Novotroitske (temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region).
The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue the systematic weakening of the military-economic capabilities and offensive potential of Russian occupation forces. Objects directly involved in waging armed aggression against Ukraine are being targeted.
