On January 9, Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate published on the War&Sanctions portal a detailed list of 41 enterprises under the Russian Uralvagonzavod concern.
Uralvagonzavod is a Russian state-owned armored vehicle holding under Rostec, providing tanks and armored vehicles to the Russian Armed Forces. The enterprises manufacture and upgrade T-72B3M, T-80BVM, T-90M, T-90MS “Proryv”, heavy flamethrower systems TOC-1A “Solntsepyok”, BMPT tank support vehicles, and armored recovery vehicles (BREM). They also produce railway cars for personnel and equipment transport.
Despite the strategic importance of the holding, 23 enterprises are not under sanctions by any coalition country.
The publication aims to help responsible businesses check partners, stop cooperation with enterprises directly supporting Russian military aggression, and synchronize sanction policies between Ukraine’s partners.
