According to the results of 2025, enterprises of JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry increased the production of weapons and military equipment by one and a half times compared to the previous year.
This was reported on January 7 by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“This is Ukraine’s response to the challenges of modern warfare and evidence that our weapons are becoming the foundation of national security”, — he wrote.
In total, weapons and equipment worth UAH 180 billion were produced in 2025 (compared to UAH 122 billion in 2024). The number of state contracts also increased by more than 50% over the past year.
“This made it possible to expand production capacities and utilization of defense enterprises. We continue transforming our defense industry into a powerful arsenal of the free world. We invest in technologies and people, creating an industrial base capable of providing the Ukrainian military with everything it needs”, — the statement said.
