The former 71st Ranger Brigade has been renamed the 71st Airmobile Brigade.

The announcement was published on the brigade’s channel on January 6.

“Starting this year, we have become better equipped, our firepower has increased, while our approaches, principles, and responsibility for combat missions remain unchanged. From now on, we are the 71st Airmobile Brigade of the 8th Air Assault Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, — the statement said.
