Belgium is ready to provide its air and naval forces to help maintain peace in Ukraine after the end of the war.
This was announced by Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever on social media platform X following the meeting of the Coalition of the Determined in Paris.
“Belgium will take on its share of the international effort aimed at preserving peace in Ukraine after the end of hostilities. Our contribution will focus, in particular, on providing air and naval forces, as well as training efforts, where Belgium can make a tangible and significant contribution”, — the post said.
The Belgian Prime Minister emphasized that these efforts must be backed by reliable U.S. support and U.S.-led monitoring to ensure effective deterrence and achieve long-term stability.
“The united West can achieve results that shape history and secure peace”, — Bart De Wever added.
