On the night of January 6, the enemy attacked with 61 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, and drones of other types; about 40 of them were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 08:30, air defense shot down and suppressed 53 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, and other drones in the north, center, and east of the country.
Eight strike UAV hits were recorded at six locations.
