Over the past day, aviation and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck seven areas of concentration of Russian troops, two command posts, a Tor surface-to-air missile system, two UAV control points, four artillery guns, and two other important objects of the Russian invaders.
This is stated in the operational update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on January 6.
At the same time, yesterday the enemy carried out three missile strikes and 65 air strikes. In addition, it conducted 3,808 shelling attacks, including 101 using multiple launch rocket systems, and employed 6,864 kamikaze drones.
“Air strikes were recorded, in particular, on the settlements of Zaliznychne, Rizdvyanka, Ternuvate, Vozdvyzhenka, and Tavriiske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast”, — the statement said.
