In 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 25 percent more specialized armored vehicles compared to the previous year.
This was reported on January 4 by Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal.
“This concerns wheeled armored vehicles of various models, both domestically produced and foreign-made, capable of performing a wide range of tactical tasks on the battlefield.
These include transporting personnel and essential supplies, providing fire support to units, medical evacuation, and more.
Some of these specialized armored vehicles are manufactured according to the MRAP scheme (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected).
Such vehicles feature a V-shaped hull to disperse blast energy, special shock-absorbing seats, and are structurally built around a monolithic armored capsule with external blast-absorbing components such as wheels, chassis, and engine.
We continue working to fully equip our army”, — Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
