President Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to a report by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa, who briefed him on preparations for a meeting with representatives of the Coalition of the Willing, as well as on preparations for changes within the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The President announced this on January 2.
“Report by Pavlo Palisa. We are preparing for meetings with security advisers who will arrive in Ukraine, as well as for work within the Coalition of the Willing at the level of leaders. The military component is key to truly guaranteeing security.
Pavlo is also working on the issue of necessary changes within the Defense Forces of Ukraine and in the coming weeks will carry out relevant work with brigades and military command to determine decisions that will be effective.
We are also preparing the modernization of military education, taking into account the experience of defending our state in a full-scale war. The educational process and the training of officers must be based on the real experience of Ukraine’s defense.
I have also signed new decrees awarding our warriors with state honors. Glory to Ukraine!” — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
