President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Decree No. 2/2026 on January 2, “On Awarding State Decorations of Ukraine”.
The text of the decree was published on the President’s website.
“For personal courage demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for selfless performance of military duty, I hereby decree:
To award the distinction of the President of Ukraine — the Cross of Combat Merit — to:
- Oleh Valeriiovych Klymov — Lieutenant Colonel
- Dmytro Oleksandrovych Piatenko — Major
- Vladyslav Serhiiovych Savchuk — Soldier
- Anton Viktorovych Solonchenko — Chief Petty Officer of the 2nd Class
- Ihor Vsevolodovych Trotska — Soldier”, — the Presidential decree states.
Awards were also presented of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (I, II, and III Classes), the Order “For Courage” (I, II, and III Classes), the Order of Danylo Halytskyi, the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”, — and the Medal “For Saving a Life”.
