Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four areas of enemy concentration and two command posts.
This is stated in the operational update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on January 2.
At the same time, yesterday the enemy carried out one missile strike and 51 air strikes, used one missile and dropped 151 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy conducted 3,508 shelling attacks, including 49 using multiple launch rocket systems, and employed 6,237 loitering munitions.
“Air strikes hit the settlements of Lisne in Kharkiv region; Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Verkhna Tersa, Huliaipole, Tsvitkove, Pryluky, Varvarivka in Zaporizhzhia region; and Prydniprovske in Kherson region”, — the statement said.
