More than 20,000 servicemen have started the course, and 13,000 defenders have already completed it and received certificates.
This was reported on December 30 during the “United News” telethon by Oleh Berestovyi, Head of the Main IT Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“This course has indeed been very popular. And we will continue updating it in accordance with new rules and battlefield experience together with the Medical Forces Command. Therefore, we will recommend and notify our users so they can refresh and rework this course further as well”, — Oleh Berestovyi said.
According to him, the course consists of short video instructions that can be watched even in field conditions. Knowledge acquisition must be confirmed through short tests.
“There are scenarios for all cases that occur on the battlefield and beyond, so that one can first of all provide first aid to oneself until help arrives from combat medics”, — Berestovyi added.
