On the night of December 31, the enemy attacked with 127 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and other drone types.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Launches were carried out from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk — Russian Federation; Chauda — temporarily occupied the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 80 of them were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense shot down / suppressed 101 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and other drone types in the north, south, and east of the country.
Twenty strike UAV hits were recorded at 11 locations.
