Russian forces continue unsuccessful attempts to expand control over Ukrainian territory, hiding behind statements about creating a so-called “buffer zone”.
This was reported by the Kursk operational grouping.
According to the grouping, fighting continues near the settlements of Yunakivka, Andriivka, Yablunivka, Varachyne, and Kindrativka.
The Defense Forces note that Kursk grouping units are effectively containing the enemy and leaving them no chance of success. Despite loud statements from the Russian side, the enemy’s real results are limited exclusively to propaganda reports.
It is separately emphasized that the settlement of Khotin is under full control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will remain so. Information about the alleged loss of the settlement is false.
The Defense Forces urge local residents to remain calm, not succumb to enemy disinformation, and trust only official and verified sources.
